Day 1 | Arrival to Athens
  • Arrival at the Athens International Airport & pick up service arranged with our Travel Agency.
  • Check in at your Hotel (Airotel Parthenon or Airotel Alexandros 3/4* or similar).
Day 2 | Athens Sightseeing, Parthenon & Acropolis Museum
  • Breakfast in your Hotel and Sightseeing around Athens main visiting sites with licenced Guide. You will see : the Kallimarmaro Stadium (also referred to as “Panathinaic Stadium”), where the first modern Olympic games took place in 1896. Pass by the Greek Parliament and Prime's Ministers residence (the building was initially the Royal Palace), were the colorful Presidential Guards - a trade-mark for modern Greece - the tall soldiers called the “Evzones”, ceremonially switch shifts every hour. Zappion (Conference and Exhibition Hall), the National- Botanical Garden (former Queen’s walking paths gardens), Hadrian’s Arc, St. Pauls Church, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schliemans House (monetary / Nomismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Athens ACADEMY, University, National Library, Old Parliament, Constitution (“Syntagma”) Square, Russian Orthodox Church, Temple(known as “Columns” nowadays) of Olympion Zeus.
  • Last but not least, theACROPOLIS hill, including the Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, PARTHENON (the main Building) and Erechtheion, all free of preservation and reconstruction machinery, which was recently completed (an enormous project that lasted more that 30 years). The wonderous Acropolis Hill premises and buildings are included among UNESCO'S world heritage monuments and is also considered among the wonders of the Ancient world.
  • In the end of the tour, you will visit the New Acropolis Museum where your Licensed Guide will explain all about sculpture and arts in Ancient and classic Greece.
Day 3 | Athens Suggestions : Neighborhoods of old Athens.
  • Visit the city of Athens: Visit the Monastiraki Market / Yusurum  (Street vendors sells all you can imagine in the heart of old Athens). Have lunch at streetside tables along Iraklidon Street ion Thision, Keramikos & Petralona neighborhoods.
  • If you feel like working out, try going to the city centre for the jogging track of Kallimarmaro Stadium: A small racetrack behind the marble Panathenaic Stadium, with dazzling views of the Acropolis and Lycabettus hill.
Day 4 | Athens Suggestions : Athens Hidden Gems.
  • Nearby Acropolis, visit Plaka, Anafiotika area (those enchanting whitewashed alleys and pastel cottages, created by migrant workers from Anafi island, who built the capital of newly independent Greece in 1841).
  • Visit the National Archaeological Museum (Greece’s largest museum, with over 20,000 exhibits, from prehistoric frescoes to classical sculpture).
Day 5 | Athens Suggestions : Athens & Around Major Archaeological Sites.
  • You can also try visiting the suburbs of Athens and the Ancient Temple of Poseidon (Cape Sounion)  : The Poseidon Temple—mentioned in Homer’s Odyssey—is a timeless attraction.
  • You can also visit the “Centre of the earth”, the Delphi Orcale remains, a 2 hours’ drive excursion from Athens.
Day 6 | Athens Airport – Departure Flight
  • Morning wake up, breakfast and
  • Transfer service to the airport of Athens.
  • 5 Nights accommodation in 3* Hotel (centrally located, such as Athens Hotel Aristoteles *** or Achileas Hotel *** or similar) or in 4* Hotel (centrally located, cuch as Athens Hotel Parthenon **** or Vasilikos Airotel**** or similar) in double or triple rooms
